THE GINGER MAN.

With the opening of the new Ginger Man in Bee Cave, I was hired to photograph the venue and activities in the Hill Country Galleria. My favorite at this beer pub is ginger beer and margherita flatbed. Here are some images....

LAKE TRAVIS FIRE RESCUE.

I had fun photographing the firemen of Lake Travis Fire Rescue for a client yesterday. A nice group of young men. I told them to stand as cool as they would like to be seen. I explained to them how I manipulated the camera settings to the scene to get the kind of image I had in mind. Afterwards, I showed them the pictures on the camera LCD and explained to them how I would work on the pictures to get the end result. I am going to give them each a copy of the image. They told me they are also musicians. Can't wait to go see them rap and photograph them for fun.

LAKE TRAVIS ZIPLINE ADVENTURE.

What royal treatment I had! I showed up at LAKE TRAVIS ZIPLINE ADVENTURE without an appointment to photograph for Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce. After informing me that I should have made an appointment, the owner John took out one of his employees and one of his comfortable boats to drive me around to different locations so I could get what I needed. It was a gorgeous day....low 70s and no humidity with a light breeze on the lake. I was very impressed at the work done on the 40 acres property. My guide, Bradley, was terrific. We went from boat to golf cart to hiking short distances for about 2 hours. Afterwards I sat by the beach on the property to enjoy the gorgeous day and the gorgeous view. I can't thank John enough for his hospitality!

Spring has sprung in the Hill country and I was out and about photographing for a client. Here are a sample of images of the landscapes of Lakeway and Bee Cave.

Eastside Austin.

A mile from downtown Austin, East Austin is funky, artsy, chic, fashionable, eclectic......this part of town is dotted with old beat-up houses and expensive high rise condos and contemporary new homes. Here you can find just about anything....from funky little food trucks to expensive restaurants, small shops to high end boutique stores. This morning, I took a great Yoga class at Eastside Yoga. Afterwards I went for a long walk in the Texas State Cemetery a block away. It is one of the most picturesque cemetery I've seen....
